Artist's Comments

There's a little Florida wildlife sanctuary a bit of a drive where we live called Turkey Creek Sanctuary. Today was monstrous hot (as usual in summer for here) but I wanted to get some new shots anyway with my new Canon. (YAY CANON. SICK OF HEARING ABOUT IT YET?>!!)

We saved a turtle from the road, wished we were dead, sweat off six pounds and were reminded of summer everywhere we looked.

This image is actually 2846x1910 pixels and the details, including viens in the leaf turns out crisp and clear--surprising the hell outta me. It is, of course, hard to show you that here as most people would be like OMFG HUEG PIC WTFBBQ?!!!. :p

**And for some reason, when I click on the picture I can't get the larger image to work at all. :( Hopefully that'll fix itself eventually.**

Thank you! I was really surprised (I generally am when a pic comes out well!) at the detail in the leaf :D

I really do have to say that I dig the details out of this. I wish that your framing would have been better cause you didn't get the detail of the bottom of the leaf

My Purity You Stole
I have one with the bottom of the leaf in the shot, but the sunlight spot is faded and not as crisp. I really liked the sunlight in this one and how bright and sharp it was in comparison. This ended up being a personal choice on my part.

Thanks!

You're welcome!! LOL, you're pictures are lovely. My eyesight isn't all that great, so thank goodness for cameras that can blow the detail up for me to see.
